A Couple of Photographers’ Gardens
Their gardens are a vibrant sanctuary, bursting with a mix of cultivated beauty and wild charm. Wildflowers create a natural, untamed feel, weaving between peonies that add bursts of color and rich texture. Rose of Sharons stand tall, their large, delicate blooms contrasting beautifully with the slender, serene bamboo trees that sway gently in the breeze.
Dogwoods and pear trees offer dappled shade, their branches providing a canvas of blossoms in Spring and lush greenery in Summer. Azaleas and daisies add layers of color, with the azaleas’ vivid hues complementing the cheerful simplicity of the daisies. Lilacs contribute their intoxicating fragrance, while the plum and pear trees promise delicious fruit, adding both beauty and bounty to these flourishing gardens.
For the past 19 years, Rich and Jingru have lovingly cultivated their gardens, creating a thriving haven for wildlife. The vibrant flowers, towering trees, and lush greenery attract a wide variety of animals, from colorful birds to playful squirrels, all of which they capture through their photography.
